BAM! You’ll notice there are no solar panels for this bad boy, a problem that plagued Opportunity and Spirit during the winter. No hippie power here. This baby is nuclear powered! That’ll show those damn Martians who’s boss. This rover will be the most capable, most acronym happy badass on the block. I mean with MAHLI, MARDI, APXS, Mastcam, ChemCam, CheMin, SAM, RAD, DAN and REMS; there’s nothing this Mars monster won’t do.
Curiosity will drive all over the old model and eat the shrapnel for breakfast.
