Aono Ryo and Kokubo Kazuhiro join Shaun White

Japan and US have 2 athletes in the finals now, followed by one from Finland and Switzerland respectively. In a historically US dominated event (6 medals since snowboarding induction into the Winter Games), Japan hopes to medal this year in the half pipe, matching the number of US athletes in this year’s final event.

The men’s snowboarding half-pipe finals will conclude tonight.
