Beware parents! Taking away your son’s Gundam models is no way to punish him. You have to resort to strictly spanking or time-outs.

A 29-year old man named Yoshifume Takabe allegedly burned down his two-story house and doused himself in kerosene, because he was angry that his mother threw away his “valuable” Gundam models.

He was attempting to kill himself, but luckily, he and his mother escaped the fire without injury.
