Japan vs America: Street Fighter

Some of you may remember the live action Street Fighter movie with Jean-Claude van Damme and Raul Julia (RIP). It wasn’t that good but ya know, it had that ‘it’s so bad it’s good’ thing going for it that made me laugh. The movie spawned a cartoon series and a game which is kind of weird when you think about it …. a game based off of a movie, based off of a game. O_o

Since Japan doesn’t have a live action Street Fighter movie, we’ll be comparing the animated series from both the USA and Japan.

I personally think the last one here is the winner since it gives a more accurate feel for the show than the original Japanese opening and, from what I remember, the dub wasn’t bad but decide for yourself!
