Monster Hunter goes triple platinum in Japan

Monster Hunter, one of the few mega Japan franchises that has not caught on in the US, has gone the equivalent of triple platinum (3.5 platinum to be exact).

The game has shipped 3.5 million copies on the PSP, the first game to do so… ever.

I think its really a matter of marketing….if these fine ladies sold Monster Hunter in the US, they would sell 3.5 million more!
