How much is your space worth to you?

Why would anyone go through the trouble of trying to grow a square watermelon? Well, the Japanese had more than enough reason to – Japan is about the size of California (USA) but with four times the population. Having that many people in such a small space can create problems and in order to save space, the square watermelon was born. The square watermelons are the exact dimensions of a Japanese refrigerator which makes storing easy. Round watermelons tend to take a lot of space and never quite sits right. But, this all comes at a price of 12,000 yen (about USD$128; 1yen=0.94USD). How much is your space worth to you?
