My Top Three!

Although Taiwan is small island, its cuisine is something people keep coming back for. Growing up in Taiwan, I’ll share with you my top 3 favorites that I’m sure to get whenever I’m home but since I live in the States, I scope out places in my area that serve these favorites of mine.

oysteromelet

???/Oyster omelet – Ingredients include eggs, oysters, tapioca starch, and Garland chrysanthemum leaves. It tastes soft and a little chewy, and is commonly seen pan fried on a large skillet. It is drizzled with sweet and sour sauce and topped with cilantro.

bobatea

????/Boba Milk Tea – Ingredients are milk tea and tapioca balls. There are various flavors you can choose from like taro, cantaloupe, mango, etc. and you get to drink it with a big straw!

stinkytofu

???/Stinky Tofu – Stinky tofu is made of fermented tofu. Although the smell may not be most appealing to the masses, it is fragrant for those that have acquired the taste.
